Websites, apps, AI assistants and automations

Digital tools built for your business. Not everyone else's.

We build websites, apps, AI agents and business tools around the way your business actually works.

No forcing your processes into someone else's software. No paying for features you don't need. Just the right digital tool, built around your business.

Fixed quotes. Senior people. No jargon.

How it works

Build small. Measure. Learn.

  1. 1

    We find the question

A free half-hour chat. You tell us what's slow, clunky or costing you money. We turn it into one question worth answering: will customers use it, will it save the hours, will it pay for itself? We write that down as a hypothesis, so we know exactly what to measure before anything gets built. If we can't help, we'll say so.

  2. 2

    We build the smallest version

Fixed quote, agreed upfront, and a first version in weeks rather than months. Just enough to put in front of real customers and find out. You deal with the people doing the work, not an account manager.

  3. 3

    We measure, then decide

We look at what actually happened, two ways. The numbers, on a dashboard you can open any time — Mixpanel, Google Analytics or whatever fits your business. And what real users tell us when we sit down with them. The numbers say what happened; the conversations say why. Then we decide together: build more, change course, or stop. Most clients keep us on for the next round — care plans, advisory, the odd tweak.

Projects we've worked on, live today

Real products, live and in use.

Not mockups — four live products you can visit or download today, built the way we'd build yours: smallest useful version first, launched early, improved from real reviews and real numbers.

The Meterz homepage: a dark hero over a city skyline asking whether you are struggling to access building energy data

Meterz

Website

Energy metering and building-data infrastructure. A complicated, technical product — explained in plain English on a site that loads fast and gets to the point.

The AllSquare homepage: spend less time invoicing, more time on the tools, with the invoices screen of the iPhone app

AllSquare

iOS app + website

Invoicing for tradespeople. Say the job details out loud, get an itemised invoice, get paid before you've left the driveway. Built for 26 trades, from sparkies to heating engineers.

Three BBQ Chef App Store screenshots: a brisket recipe, a saved recipe collection and the hottest recipes from real pitmasters

BBQ Chef

iOS app

AI recipes for barbecue obsessives. Tells you how to smoke or grill anything on the kit you actually own, and there's a community called The Pit for showing off the results.

Three StreakStory App Store screenshots: streak cards, choosing an AI coach and a monthly streak calendar

StreakStory

iOS app

An AI habit tracker with six coaching personalities and stories you unlock by keeping your streak alive. Nagging, but the kind you don't mind.

What we do

Here's what we do.

Seven things, done properly. Each one starts small, gets measured, and only grows once it's earning its keep.

The Techgeezer way

Two ways to build. Only one gets results fast.

Most consultancies still run projects the waterfall way: a long discovery phase, one big build, a big reveal at the end. We run short iterations instead, with real people using real software from week one. Here's the difference, and why it's better for you.

The traditional consultancy way

The Techgeezer way

TraditionalMonths of discovery and a thick requirements document.

TechgeezerA free chat, one question worth answering, a fixed quote.

TraditionalEverything built in one long phase, revealed at the end.

TechgeezerA working first version in real hands within weeks, then fortnightly iterations.

TraditionalYou find out whether it works at launch, after the money's spent.

TechgeezerYou find out with the first version, for a fraction of the cost.

TraditionalChanging your mind means a change request and a change fee.

TechgeezerChanging course is the point. The numbers decide what's next.

TraditionalProgress reported in slide decks by an account manager.

TechgeezerProgress you can click on, and a live dashboard you can open any time.

Cheaper to be wrong

If an idea doesn't land, you find out with a small first version for hundreds of pounds, not at launch for tens of thousands. Most of the risk disappears before most of the money is spent.

Faster to something useful

Your customers or your team are using a working version in weeks. Every iteration after that adds something they've asked for, rather than something a requirements document guessed at.

Decisions on evidence

Every project starts with a written hypothesis, so we know what to measure before we build. Then a dashboard — Mixpanel, Google Analytics or whatever fits — shows what people actually did: what they used, where they got stuck, what they ignored. Short conversations with real users tell us why. Next steps come from both, not from opinions in a meeting room.

Free tool

Not sure where to start? Two minutes will tell you.

Eight quick questions about how your business runs today. You get a score out of 100, the three places AI would hand you the most time back, and what to do first. Written for a growing UK business, not an enterprise IT department.

Why Techgeezer

Why a small studio beats a big agency.

A small team gathered around one laptop, smiling
  • You talk to the people doing the work. Every time. No account managers translating in between.
  • We've shipped real products. Three apps we've worked on launched small, went live on the App Store, and improved from real reviews. We've learned the lessons so you don't have to.
  • Fixed quotes, no surprises. The price we give you is the price you pay.
  • Iterations, not a big reveal. No six-month build behind closed doors. Something real ships in weeks, then improves every couple of weeks from what people actually do with it.
  • Cheap to be wrong, early. Small first versions mean that if an idea doesn't land, you find out for hundreds, not tens of thousands. Senior people build it, and stand behind it.

About

Meet Aidan.

Aidan Godfrey, founder of Techgeezer, smiling on a rooftop terrace

Techgeezer is run by Aidan Godfrey — a product designer and developer who's spent the last decade building digital products the lean way — small releases, real users, honest numbers — including years designing products used by millions at household-name tech companies.

Say hello on LinkedIn
  • Designer and developer in one. The person sketching your screens is the person building them — UX research, design and code, one brain.
  • Big-league experience, SME and startup focus. Design systems and data-heavy products at big-name tech firms — now pointed at businesses like yours.
  • Ships real products. AllSquare, BBQ Chef and StreakStory are apps he's worked on — launched small, live on the App Store, and shaped by real users and real reviews.
  • Founder, not just builder. He's run the marketing, watched the P&L and chased the invoices. He knows exactly what a five-figure decision feels like.

AI training

Your team, actually using AI.

Who it's for

Growing companies who keep hearing about AI and are quietly sick of it. You know there's something in it — you just want someone to cut through the noise and show you what's useful for your business.

What a session looks like

Half a day, at your place or on a call. We work on real tasks from your business — quotes, emails, spreadsheets, job notes. Everyone hands-on. Nobody left behind.

What you get out of it

Your team leaves actually using it — that afternoon, on real work — with a small experiment each to run that week. We check in on what worked.

Care plans

We don't disappear after launch.

Websites need looking after. Apps need updates. AI agents need someone keeping an eye on them. Our care plans cover hosting, maintenance and small fixes — and our advisory retainers give you a regular slot of senior time to look at the numbers and pick the next bet.

Referrals

Know a business we should meet? That's worth 10%.

Refer a company to us — a mate's firm, a client, the business next door — and if they go ahead, we'll send you 10% of the fee for that first piece of work.

No scheme to sign up to, no points, no fine print marathon. Fill in the two-minute form, or just tell them to mention your name.

Free · No obligation

Let's have a chat.

Thirty minutes, free, no obligation — and no follow-up sequence of "just bumping this" emails. Tell us what's bugging you and we'll tell you the smallest thing we'd try first.
